Biography
Linda J. Hawkins grew up in a small town in Kentucky. She attended Western Kentucky University, and went on to receive a diploma in children's literature. She would like children to have fun while learning. For eleven years, she was advocate and volunteer crisis counselor. Linda was editor of an inspirational newsletter, Heart to Heart, for 10 years. Her stories and poems have also been dramatized in the school systems and public libraries. Linda's writing style both entertains and educates children. Linda serves on the board of directors for Healthy Families International based in Los Angeles California. She was appointed in March of 2007.

Linda J. Hawkins is the author of Alexander and the Great Food Fight/Alexander and the Great Vegetable Feud, Alexander Enjoys His Fruits & Vegetables (flip book), Alexander's Enrichment Activities and Catering to Children with Recipes for Memorable Teas, The Unspoken Language of Fans and Flowers with Recipes.
