FHA/HERO provides learning and leadership experiences which help members develop attitudes and acquire knowledga and skills in responsible group membership, self-sufficiency, problem solving, and transition of knowledge. As an integral part of the home economics program, FHA/HERO contributes to both in-class instruction and activities beyond the regular school day. Hands-on experiences and student involvement in every phase of planning, conducting, and evaluting activites lead to leadership development and career development.
