The Easy Choice

Permit me to tell you of accounting

And the definite conflict that is mounting

Between the ways of old and the ways of new.

Is manual or automated the way for you?

Manual is traditional, as we all know.

But the much quicker automated can really go.

When you're at the keyboard, you can easily move

Through monotonous number crunching, as I will prove.

Sure, manual accounting gives you the skills,

But automated on the computer has many more thrills.

With no messy pens or pencils to sharpen,

With very little use you too will harken.

Of the joys of automated, it's better indeed.

It's leaps and bounds neater with superior speed.

Manual is crucial, but it is a bore.

Automated has many more benefits in store.

My accounting teacher says that manual's fine,

But we all know that he doesn't post each line.

With a mere punch of a key, it does all your works.

Don;t leave it to an accountant, for they can be jerks.

Anyone that's anyone used automated jargon.

You need no accountant! It's easy! A bargain!
